Reeve Money

You wrote the plan.
Reeve keeps it.

Reeve Money is a personal finance agent for iPhone. It watches every account you connect, holds your spending to the budget you wrote, guards the cards you froze, and tells you — within minutes, not at month-end — the moment life drifts off the plan. Then it talks it through with you, in plain words.

Meet Reeve. The steward who keeps your plan, on every screen and in every conversation. Two looks, one Reeve — you pick the one you'd rather talk to.

reeve (n.)

The medieval officer who kept an estate's accounts and enforced its obligations — the one person whose whole job was making sure the plan the household set was the plan the household followed.

Reeve is that job with a modern twist: it watches your bank accounts instead of the manor's stores, talks in plain words instead of ledgers, and answers to you, not the lord.

It's also where the word sheriff comes from: shire-reeve. We liked that part too.

I.

Your plan, in your words

Budgets by category, a debt-payoff order, a cushion, frozen cards — set once, in a conversation. Reeve treats it as law. When life happens it proposes an amendment and waits for your approval; nothing changes behind your back, and every change can be undone.

II.

Today: what's due, what's safe

One screen each morning: the bills before payday, the cash on hand to cover them, and a single number — safe to spend — that already accounts for both. Mark things done or later; Reeve reworks the day around it.

III.

Enforcement, not reporting

Most finance apps tell you what happened last month. Reeve flags a charge on a frozen card, a category pacing past its target, or a deposit that deserves a decision — while there's still time to act, and asks you what it meant instead of guessing.

IV.

The road out, dated

A living projection of your debt-free date, each debt's part in it, savings and investments alongside — recomputed from live balances, honest about its assumptions, and shown as a plan you can read: overview, budget, debt, savings, charts.

V.

Ask Reeve anything

Chat with Reeve about your money — where it went, what a purchase would do to the plan, what to pay first. Answers come with the numbers and, when it helps, a table or a what-if scenario. Reeve remembers what you tell it. Pick the Reeve you'd rather talk to; two looks, one steward.

VI.

Fits the phone you have

Banks and cards through Plaid; Apple Card, Apple Cash and Savings read on-device. Home and Lock Screen widgets for safe-to-spend and what's due. Siri: “what's safe to spend in Reeve.” Light and dark. Alerts arrive as notifications, not emails.

Your data works for you, and no one else. Connections are read-only. Reeve never sells, shares, or advertises against your financial data — its only job is keeping your plan. And it's sealed: your data on Reeve's servers is encrypted with a key only your phone holds, so not even the people who run Reeve can read it. Details on the security and privacy pages.
