Privacy at Reeve Money

Reeve Money exists to keep your financial plan — not to monetize your attention or your data. This policy says plainly what we collect, why, and what we will never do with it.
What we collect
- Financial account data you choose to connect: account names, balances, transactions, and investment holdings, received read-only through Plaid or Apple's FinanceKit. Your bank credentials never touch our systems — they are entered only with your institution or Plaid.
- Your plan and app settings: the budgets, rules, and preferences you create in the product.
- Nothing else. The app and this website contain no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking. This website sets no cookies.
How it's used
Solely to provide the service to you: monitoring your accounts against your plan, sending you the alerts you configured, and showing your progress. That is the entire list.
What we never do
We never sell your data. We never share it with third parties for their own purposes. We never use it for advertising. There is no "anonymized data" carve-out.
Service providers
The service is built on a small number of infrastructure providers acting on our instructions. Each receives only what its role requires:
- Plaid — bank connectivity. Receives your bank login on its own pages; we never see it. Their privacy statement.
- Apple — Sign in with Apple, FinanceKit (on-device), and push notifications.
- Fly.io — hosts the Reeve server and the encrypted volume your data lives on (US, Virginia). Automatic volume snapshots are kept for 30 days for disaster recovery.
- Anthropic — the AI model behind Reeve's judgement and chat. To answer you it receives the parts of your data a question needs: recent transactions (merchant, amount, account nickname), balances, your plan and goals, and your messages. Anthropic does not train on this data, and does not receive your name, email, Apple identity, bank credentials or Plaid tokens.
- Cloudflare — this website only.
Retention and deletion
Financial data is retained while the associated account connection is active, so the product can show history and long-term progress. Disconnect an account at any time to stop collection. Delete account in the app's Settings erases everything at once: bank connections are revoked at Plaid, and your transactions, plan, chat, goals and sign-in are removed from our systems immediately. Copies in the 30-day disaster-recovery snapshots age out on their own. You can also request deletion by email to support@reevemoney.com; requests are honored without undue delay. This policy and our retention practice are reviewed at each major release.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct, delete, or export your data. Whatever the jurisdiction, our practice is the same: deletion and export are built into the app, and if you would rather ask, we'll do it.

Audience and changes
Reeve Money is not directed to individuals under 18. If this policy changes materially, the change is dated here and announced in the app.
